Antelope Canyonby rscorpComment: This is a stunning image. I can't think of who's it was, but someone else on this site has taken virtually the same shot. And I think both of those shots are stunning!
Here's to the virtues of film! |

Wet and wildby pitsamanComment: This is beautiful, though I have to say I think I'd prefer it with a blue/grey cast than the sepia toning.
Still, it's an absolutely terrific shot. Brilliant! |

More precious than...by bhowieComment: Wow... I guess my taste is a little different to most voters.
Keep the great work coming though. It'll pay off soon enough ! |

Doom Watch by ImagineerComment: I didn't have time to vote on this challenge but I did have a quick glance through the thumbnails during voting. One image caught my eye above all others, and it, fine sir, was yours.
Congratulations on your entry into the rarefied air of the 8+ club :).
In case my opinion wasn't clear. This is a ridiculously cool photo.
Though I do have to say... sheesh - that's one ugly animal! Looks like a turkey with a sharp beak and a hunch-back. |

A Joyful Noiseby BradComment: Hehehehe... I'm glad I didn't submit mine to the free study then :).
Though I have to say, there's no way I could have done mine without a tripod - them's some ridiculously sturdy hands you've got yourself.
As for the photo itself, I really like the warm feel and the diffused effect your processing gives it (or was that just camera shake induced blur :P). |

No Way Outby babylonComment: Saw this during the challenge - gave it an eight, it had more emotional impact that just about all the other shots. Thus, I'm a little surprised at the placing, but oh well! My only complaint is the texture in the shadowy part of the wall - it distracts slightly. Otherwise, terrific work - keep it up. |
