this is an interesting shot, but i'm having a hard time stretching it to 'everyday objects'. on the other hand, it's a welcome break from pictures of remotes and keychains (no offense to any of those photographers intended--there were some really great images of remotes and keychains). heck, i'm feeling generous, i'll score this a

ay-yi-yi...pardon me, but that water looks NASTY. great idea for a shot. could be improved by positioning, cropping, lighting, dof, color, and, last, but not least, water clarity. honestly, if my water looked like that, i'd be drinking 8 glasses of beer a day...
