Some seperation between the subject and the wall might give a nice effect. There seems to be either a focus, or camera motion issue here. Try a tripod, or bracing against something while taking pictures.

Just another night for a video game fan

I'd like to see a more balanced exposure. Who's playing the game, what about a face or something perhaps? If that's what that is, I honestly can't tell, i'd like to see more light, and detail there.

Colors

Entering an image this small into a challenge is a sure way to get lowballed by a lot of voters. It looks like you did a longer exposure of some nice lights. The shot has some really interesting colors. The downside of this kind of shot is it looks like almost no effort was put into it, because we don't always know if the motion was supposed to be there or not. Often it's assumed that it's not supposed to be there and it's voted down. One thing you really might want to do is turn of the date on your camera. That's something you'll never find in "artistic" photography, and this is mostly an artistic website. If that's how you wanted it to come out, good work. For the next challenge, I would really suggest using an image with one dimention at least 600 pixels long.

The textures in the skin seem to have vanished. There is some in spots but then none at all in others. Consistancy would have been nice. I love the color choice for the backround, it works darn well. I just would have liked to have seen less spot editing on the skin. 7.
