Cranesby sersalComment: This is cool with all of the interplaying lines. It seems that there is not point to let your eyes rest on, which is slightly frustrating. |

After the Long Day by loveComment: Fotoshootme, this is quite nice. The detail and tonal qualities are very attractive, and I get the sense that your subject is certainly overworked and tired. While I know that the welding helmet is part of his equipment, it is a slightly odd element in the photo. Overall, I expect this shot to place very well. |

Arkitektby sbeaumontComment: Apparently they haven't met the architects I work with...
All in all, this is a nice shot that is controlled and with spot-on composition. |

CGby whiteroomComment: Nice, contrasty, grainy feel to this shot. I like how the eye and the ring mimic each other, and I really don't see any room for improvement. |

Fake Rolexby alanfreedComment: If you buy someone a fake rolex, maybe you are the cheap bastard. Thanks for this entry, it is a welcome change from the overly mushy sentiments portrayed in the umpteen diamond entries. As far as your photograph, you have done a good job as the watch does look both cheap and fake. |

The Black Pearlby vasilkovayaComment: Considering the number of shells in the background, I think a slighty deeper depth of feild would have been more appealing. Perhaps a tighter crop would have yeilded the same effect, though. |

MAMBAby aznymComment: Astounding depth of field with great color. The layout to match the curves of a snake is just subtle enough not to be overpowering but without going unnoticed. This looks consumately professional. Have fun winning the challenge! |

February by nico_blueComment: Probably one of the finer examples of using and controling reflections to make an interesting shot. While parts of the ring are a bit dull, the overall shot is one of the best, in my eyes. |

August - Peridotby dartompkinsComment: Interesting depth of feild. I can't quite figure out what I'm looking at, or how it is shaped, but all in all it is an intriguing shot. Nice color, as well. |
