I'm assuming that the lighter areas come from a light behind the leaf. It's not totally clear that is the case but I'm going to assume it is. Therefore I find this on topic and can rate on the merit of the photo which is very high. The composition is good. The color is good. The element of design is great. I really like this.

I especially like what is happening on the left side of this image. In fact I'd suggest cropping off the right one which distracts due to the hot lighting. The colors on the left one are wonderful and so is the seed pod.
