Three times a dayby Prime_TimeComment: This is pretty good as is, but I think this one might benefit from a tighter crop and a shallower DOF. I'm curious how this one would look if the hands in front were still in focus but the items in the background were blurred more?

Youth Won't Die Without a Fightby ArtysteComment: After all the photos of kids' soccer and college sports, this photo's really refreshing because of its unique subject matter. Points for creativity. Thanks! |

Whispered Flightby Dr.ConfuserComment: I'm sure you'll get some comments about the blinding spots on the back of the butterfly, but this was an incredibly difficult shot to get. You'll get a couple of extra points from me for managing such a difficult shot. Good luck with the challenge!

Flash on the Rocksby PaulMdxComment: Great idea! I've heard that CF cards have held up against much worse. How's yours doing? ;) Very nice photo. I hope you do well in the challenge.

Golf Swing Aftermathby dhareComment: Bravery points on this one if you actually got your camera that close to a swinging golf club. ;)
This shot's original and done well. Good luck on this challenge!

"Through the Looking Glass"by tfarrell23Comment: This is such an interesting shot, because there are three unique and distinct objects, yet none of them distract from the others. Very original setup!

Waterball!by EddyGComment: Great capture of the ball in mid-air, and an excellent angle from which to shoot this picture. Thanks also for photographing a unique team sport!

.........WOW! and an amazing save by the American goalkeeperby MarkComment: I love the placement of the "athletes" in this shot. Everything about this picture draws the viewer into the action. Usually for an action-shot challenge, I'd prefer a shot with live people. However, this one is done well, it does indeed show action, and it looks like it was very hard to pull off! I'm anxious to see your comments on this photo after the challenge is over, because I'm interested in what techniques you used for this shot.
