Cairn of entropyby StaralfurComment: Very nice greens in both rock and shell. I almost see them in the rust itself. Very nice relaxed mood to this piece with a good balance in all areas of light and dark, and focus and diffusion. I would like it somewhat better I suspect if a little picture were available below the shell.

Flower in Chainsby LadyLinComment: Nice rendition of chain and flower. There were other attempts in this challenge to deal with the lighting on rust and flowers. This is the only one to really pull it off. I just find the composition itself a little unsatisfying. Some greater harmony in the curves of flower and chain would help.

I'm giving YOU the bird!by JoelHSmithComment: I wouldn't mind if you found another title for this shot. The bird is definitely cute. You might want to compare to the finch I got a picture of in my birds album at webshots. (See my profile for url.) The orange of the out of focus building in helps create a beautiful setting for this shot. Very, very nice.
