My first flower pictureby TrollManComment: The colors in the background really help, although even smaller aperture and even more diffusion provides a really nice counterpoint to the chosen flower. |

Somewhere In The Maryland Countrysideby GolferDDSComment: Nice spring foliage, nice sheep. cropping about 15 to 20 pixels off the top reduces the distraction at the very top. I guess it is just in the nature of sheep to flock closely together. It would have been nice if they had formed a more aesthetic grouping. |

Nature and Technologyby bledfordComment: A lighter background would have helped a lot with the caterpillar, although bugs on circuit boards are often hard to locate. the colors are a little garish for my taste.

Positive and Negativeby Beerme425Comment: Very nicely constructed and superbly lit. A 10 for the effort alone, yet interest an beauty call for additional points. |

Variations of Old and New: Post Modern, Modern and Gothicby flip89Comment: This is a very nice composition in texture, color and form. A slightly different aspect, camera more to the left that would remove that slice of sky would help me as the tilt of the camera to the buildings already makes the two buildings on the right appear to be in one photo and the one on the left a collage.

Chalk & Cheeseby dhareComment: I seem to have to guess a lot as to what is opposite. Here it appears edible and inedible. Nevertheless, lovely color combination on nicely textured background mostly nicely arranged. I like so much the unshadowed surface of the chalk, I would wish the same for the cheese.
A 7. I just increased this from a 6 because the chalk is so outstanding. |

Bright Night in the Big Appleby janoComment: The composition of this picture seems okay and the colors seem okay, Even though the idea might be to show the difference between light and dark, the picture is far too overexposed for my likine.

Not Enough Shes for the Hesby jbeazellComment: The opposites being she and hes? NIce capture of the queue of males. The dark shadow that is fallingon he right and the number of over esposed areas detract from an otherwise very interesting shot.

Opposite Worldsby the-O-sterComment: Besides uptown and downtown there is motion and rest, focus and blur, light and dark, hatless and covered, bald and not. I think the challenge has been well met. The photo has a lot of appeal for me as well as my eyes keep going to the interest that the man with shoulder strap and hat is showing in the uptown sign. Excellent composition and exposure.
