The de-sat and the colors remaining are too harsh for my taste. I think de-sat works best on just one or two main focal points in an image. It is a great reminder of summer days, but appears a bit like a snapshot or too busy to be in a calendar. All this simply an opinion.

I tried for an hour to get some good pelican shots in Huntington Beach last month - congrats on doing it! As a calendar shot, I don't think it entirely works for me - but just an opinion. The colors, while perfectly true, are not very interesting or pleasing and the birds were caught at a somewhat awkward moment for that purpose.

There is just not enough of a focal point of interest in the composition in my opinion. I think if you took this idea, though, and worked on the arrangement a bit, you may really get a great collage piece. The white balance also appears a little off on my monitor, giving it a blue cast througout.

You have a done a wonderful job in editing this; the tones and the glow are beautiful. I personally don't feel this looks like a calendar - the woman's portrait appears more personal to me.

What a great capture!! In a perfect world, I wish the background fence could be a different color or shade to do the birds justice. The image is either a bit out of focus or a little too much NeatImage for my personal taste, but I can't say obviously. I am just trying to describe how it is appearing to me.

Very cute and original idea! It appears just a tad out of focus, but otherwise wouldn't change a thing.

I love the leaves all gathered around the train - terrific find. The red tones seem to have grabbed some areas too strongly or in splotches that I personally find distracting and really hurting the photgraph. Just an opinion.

Wonderful, nostalgic take for August vacation season!! One of my favorites and very unique. I see some "grain" which I think you kept/added intentionally and really makes the shot. If you didn't, then I'd say it was good that you didn't "remove" it.

Very effective holiday still; you got the ribbons so perfect! I think for my own personal taste, I would prefer a different background color to let the reds in the balls stand out on their own - but only an opinion.

Terrific Fall colors. It appears to be more of a snapshot, though, than a landscape you would feature in a calendar. As a suggestion, perhaps if it were cropped to highlight more of the vibrant colors to the left? The large, dark tree on the right is a bit overbearing in my opinion.
