Laurie? Very nice capture. I think that if you woulda cought it just before it went into the water this would be spectacular. Ya got good detail in both birds.

A nice stop-motion capture, but the crop seems to be a little too loose, with too much free space at the edges. Especially the right edge, at least to me. A tighter crop would have given the focal point on the pelicans a much more dynamic center.

I tried for an hour to get some good pelican shots in Huntington Beach last month - congrats on doing it! As a calendar shot, I don't think it entirely works for me - but just an opinion. The colors, while perfectly true, are not very interesting or pleasing and the birds were caught at a somewhat awkward moment for that purpose.
