Winter Dawnby Bear_MusicComment: Awesome shot! Wish I had the gumption to get up early like this. Technically and artistically superb. |

Haloby BobsterLobsterComment: Love it! What a wonderful, candid image. Great use of DOF to highlight a truly comical moment. That yellow light (in background) does distract a bit, but overall I think it's a great capture. Message edited by author 2006-01-11 16:35:57. |

Hybridby CEJComment: Wow. This is excellent. I browsed through this challenge, but didn't vote. This definitely underrated. Must be due to the large number of excellent shots. In a regular challenge, it would have been at the top (IMHO).
Although the concept isn't unique, the execution is great. I spent a lot of time marveling at how well the kiwi was cut to fit, and how it wasn't mushed up. Nice, crisp focus and great colors. |

bambi_bis.jpgby elee3009Comment: Well, it must have worked because I don't see a blue wire. This is a really nice image. Love the composition. Good detail in the fur, with only a couple of small blown highlights. Very charming shot. Message edited by author 2005-11-28 19:01:08. |

spider blending inby striveComment: That's the most weevil-looking spider I have ever seen. It's certainly blending in. Excellent example of camouflage! |
