That's bound to get some reaction. It definitely stirs some emotion in me. Compositionally: Lots of nice diagonals serve to emphasize the movement and unease created by the subjects. The pipe is a bit distracting and the rear foot of cat looks a little "chopped". However, it's hard to criticise considering how difficult it must have been to get a cat and bird to pose. Color, exposure and focus are great.

We built my parents their first computer. My dad is an outdoorsman; so I used this image for his desktop. I tried to explain how to change it if he chose, but he would have none of it. His response was "I'm NEVER going to change it!"

Chris, this is really good! It's like an architectural quilt, sewn together with interesting shapes and textures. It's a perfect subject and composition for duotone; in full color it might be too busy. Love the address on the door. It's "Classic". Awesome job.
