This is very nice. I like the fact that your shutter was fast enough not to morph the water into a continuous velvet blur. Perfect dof and a very nice composition.

Simply beautiful. I think the composition is perfect and the simple colors of the subject against the vivid blue background is very powerful. With such a compelling subject, I think your choice of frame is a bit much though. A simple white line might have been the exclamation point!

I like the simplicity of this shot. It's a beautiful statement of the ability of a good subject to "do the talking" without unnecessary frills. It could be a bit sharper, but the overall impact is not lessened at all. I also like the brown background.

This shot has lots of things going for it: the composition and crop are excellent, but the small flowers on the right are quite blown, which distracts from your subject.

An absolutely beautiful flower, but my mind's eye wants to see this against a black background. It would make the red really pop and the brownish anthers would still be very strong. As it is, the background is too busy for me and distracts away from the central subject.

The background truck must have been intentional but I don't see the point. It looks as though you had an overcast day and I think a brilliant blue sky for the background would have been better, but maybe you never got the chance. As it is, I think the flowers lose their impact by the busy background. Great focus and sharpness on the plants themselves.
