Really excellent choice for the desaturation challenge. My only nitpick would be that it seems like this shot would be better with a white background. But I love it just as it is as well. Nice job!

Really nice shot. It seems a bit noisy and over-sharpened, so you might want to try to get more light on the shot, or just play with your f-stops until you either blur out or blacken out the background. But I like this shot as it is too and it meets the challenge nicely. Good job!

This was probably the most interesting shot of the challenge for me. Better lighting would have probably improved it a bit, but who wants to lug lights out to their deck in the rain? :-) But even with natural light, this is a really excellent photo. Great job.
