The stand-up comicby burtctComment: Not much in his "environment" to suggest where it was taken. Looks too much like a studio kind of shot really.
A stage, crowd, etc in the background would have done this much better justice. |

Standing Byby kleskiComment: A sharper image here would have really helped this a lot.
I do like the depth of field and the nature of the portrait. |

Shakira 01.jpgby lentilComment: Nice tones and pose, but the lower part of the shot is a touch too over-exposed and lacks definition in comparioson to the upper half.
Tighten up on the crop maybe?

Shakira 03.jpgby lentilComment: Maybe a tighter crop on this one:
Keep the main focal point more prominent?
Not sure that all the lower part of the fence and the bg on the left are doing anything for that. |

Shakira 02.jpgby lentilComment: hmmmm - love the shot but something just seems off-balance in the vignette perhaps.
Did you apply it after the toning? It seems to be a different tone, and while sometimes it works OK, in this case I think maybe the vignette and the tone should be same/similar.
It seems to be most noticeable when the vignette goes over very light areas like the bottom of the image. |

Funny - I never even saw it - the photograph kept my eyes attached exactly where they should have - the subject matter. the mark of a great image imo.
