I see from the exif you used Picassa in your post-processing. The speckled look here led me to see why. Be careful about the sharpening in Picassa, as it hurts the image quality. I understand the setup here in regards to subject, but doesn't "really" fit as a crime scene (yet). Maybe some crumbs left over to show what was there may have been more effective.
