Glory Riderby IvoComment: Glad to see this place in the top 100, but still think it was deserving of a much higher finish.
This truly is an incredible shot. |

Sigrún Freyjaby HauxonComment: I was so hoping to see this in the top 10.
This really is about as good of a child portrait as it gets. |

Joyby DjabordjaborComment: Perhaps one of the most under-rated images in this challenge.
I can't say enough about the genuine feeling that emits from this. |

Jeff, you are the master of fill lighting shooting into the sun. The overall effects you get are superb! |

Louvreby Rino63Comment: This is a very fine composition and so well-suited for the tone you chose.
My only dig on this is the halo effect around the people and the upper right roof lines. Was this from dodge/burning done? If so, it's best to do it in a new layer via copy, do the burning as if the people weren't even there, then go to the eraser tool and erase back areas you didn't want burned if they got too dark, then flatten layers.
Still a great photograph regardless. |

Mountain Grandeurby SandyPComment: The partial desturation here is causing too much of an imbalnce in this photograph for me. I can only imagine the mountains would have been better subdued in color perhaps, but not desaturated, or an overall black & white conversion. |
