bamboo and marblesby claudia26Comment: Excellent - great interaction between the roots and the marbles. Nice colors. I think it would be much better without the (dirty) metal pan at the base. |

Journeyby gaurawaComment: Great intrepretation and presentation. The transition from green to dried is marvelous. The white background is perfect as is exposure. I really like the leaves that have shadows - maybe stronger side-lighting would have applified the shadows, making it even stronger. One of my top picks so far. |

Radiant by Mary Ann MeltonComment: Stunning! The lighting and glow in the center is awesome. (Even if it is post processing.) Subtle pastel colors are exceptional. Focus = perfect. I've just started voting - but so far this is one its way to ribbonsville. |

Not Another Railway Track Photo....by 3DsArcherComment: No, not just not another railway track photo at all! It's one that is unique, creative and artistic. The glowing colors are very magical. The platform next to the rails is a vanishing point without the rails. Well seen and shot. |

Vanishing Chordsby LlamboComment: The black background makes the subtle colors really zing. I'd like to see the first fret area in the foreground in focus. The diagonal placement is very effective and creative. |

into townby stoney66Comment: A great idea - definitely leads to a vanishing point. There's a lot of wasted space in the sky - but cropping it to a square image actually makes it stronger. Crop just higher than the tallest building. That way the vanishing point is at a crashpoint. Exposure is right on - and the star flares from the lights are great. |

My El Paso Sunriseby lg4u16Comment: Sorry, I really want to judge this image - it has some nice colors. But it is just to small to tell. It seems a bit blurry - even in theis small version. |

Love of Stringsby JJacobsonComment: You have a unique take on the popular string theme. The moving strings add some nice lines. Even with the movement, I'd like to see more in focus. |

Prarie Sunsetby ScantyNebulaComment: The orange colors are stunning - and the vanishing point is superb. Suggestions for improvement: a) Crop off about 1/2 (or more) of the black area at the bottom. b) Save it less compressed so that you don't have the wavy area in the orange sky. (You are allowed 150k - and you used les that 70k.)
It's a really nice submission - very graphic and effective. |
