Waiting for Springby kebmod54Comment: A beautiful photograph that I really like. Perhaps the use of a flash might have given more prominence to the sign, while still retaining the beautiful background you managed to capture.
Very nice indeed, and should do well. Good luck with the challenge. |

Bustin'by BooZonComment: I did get a chuckle out of this one, (actually gut splitting laughter is more appropriate). Very well done, Good luck to you with the challenge. |

Off the Wall by scalvertComment: Another yet absolutely stunning photo by a master.
I am ever so glad that I joined DPC, as I have had the good fortune, in a very short period of time, to view some absolutely astounding photography prepared by unbelievably talented individuals.
Surprising as it may seem Mr. Scalvert, I did have a good idea as to how the set up for this photograph was done. I am slowly but surely learning a greal deal from you and others in this realm.
The photos you grace us with are indeed to be marvelled at, but perhaps (I may sound rather self centered in saying this), what I treasure the most, are the lessons you provide in addition to your artwork.
Thank you ever so much for being the caring and sharing person that you are!!!

Paradise Lostby scalvertComment: This is truly a wonderful photo of a magnificent animal and you really should have entered it in the "Best of 2004" Challenge. I am impressed not only with the DOF, the sharpness of the photo and the expression you managed to capture, but also the fact that you managed to do all of this and not capture any reflection whatsoever from the glass.
You would have done well with this in my opinion.

Daring Escape...Almost (Freedom II)by photomComment: I loved this photo. Laughed till I cried when I saw it. I am ever so curious as to how you managed to get your cat to lick his "chops" like that. Perhaps the use of honey or other similar product. Congratulations on a job well done. Top of the scale for me. |

Guilt by Associationby davidbedardComment: I truly do like this photo. The DOF, the clarity and the guilty looking culprit were riveting. I gave this one of my highest scores and do believe it will be with the leaders when tabulation is completed. |
