Effective b&w! the sign is a bit dark and I think that the arrangement of buildings/sign is a bit confusing. The field definitely and hills in background give depth.

the sign a good part of the pic; good contrast; good lighting; am I seeing some barrel effect in top corners? Good composition

Has this been a little oversharpened? There appears to be some haloing appearing around the '30' sign. A lovely rural feel is conveyed here, however.

A beautiful photograph that I really like. Perhaps the use of a flash might have given more prominence to the sign, while still retaining the beautiful background you managed to capture.

Very nice composition with the neat and tidy farm buildings in the background, the tilled field and grasses in the foreground and the perfect description sign placed well in the frame. You've melded together what could have been a 'piecemeal' composition with that great black 'n white rendition.
