HIDDENby anotherdayComment: A nice image which has me puzzled. The relation between this image and a fence would be what? I do hope you will enlighten me once this challenge is over as I am always ready to expand my horizons. |

double "D"fenceby SimpaComment: Bit of a stretch to refer to this as a fence don't you think??? I truly would appreciate your views as to just exactly how this relates to any form of fencing... I truly am curious. |

I feel the autumn fail — all that slow fire / denied in me, who has denied desire...by Bear_MusicComment: I saw the image and thought I might know who took the photograph, and was absolutely certain once I read the caption. I am convinced that I have read this somewhere, probably a poem.
I do truly like this image although it does take time to gain a full appreciation for this type of artistry. My only quibble is that I found the foreground a tad oversharpened, and wondered what those "Blotches" were at the top of the image.
I do consider myself to be a rather harsh marker, but did give this image an 8. Congraluations on pioneering this new Genre.

Three Speed Boyfriendby lkn4truthComment: Judging by the number of low scores this image garnered, it would seem that the quality and technical merits of the image were relegated to the dustbin by some of the more conservative elements on this site.
The image certainly did not merit the bounty of 10's you received, but by the same token, I fear that the 1's are more reflective of the righteous indignation of some voters than they are of the quality of the image.
The image certainly met the criteria of the challenge, was in focus and was well lit... and that in itself should warrant a score of 5 at the very least... but then again, it would seem that unbiased decisions might be difficult for some to render when faced with a controversial subject matter.

Backwater Commuter by FalcComment: For your sake I do hope most of the voters have properly calibrated monitors. This is indeed a stunning image, but having viewed it on three different monitors I fear that some voters may not appreciate the more subtle colours of the image.
Beautiful image that so far is the best I have seen. The reflections, shadows, hues and sunlight all combine to produce a captivating vista. Very well done indeed, and good luck in the challenge. |

House Hubbyby MAKComment: This my friend is absolutely priceless. Mind you, my attorney will be communicating with you to recoup the cost of a new monitor, as I spewed my drink all over it.
I never imagined a candid photo could be so.....errrrrrrrrrrr gripping.
Very well done indeed.

Season's Greetingsby BradComment: Beautiful image Brad, and very much in keeping with the Christmas mood. I am going to guess you took this image early in the day considering the amount of snow still on the trees.
Great job.

Sticky Memoriesby dx_powerComment: No offense but, without the title how would one equate this image with "Sticky"? This is a good image, but sadly I have difficulty associating it with the challenge theme. |

Flowers by librodoComment: This is indeed a beautiful image, replete with all the qualities normally associated with the products of a great photographer.
My only gripe is that I personally do not envisage this as being an image that I would normally equate with "Dirt", since dirt is barely apparent in this photo.
Congratulations on your placement.
