Petalby welcherComment: Ok so there are a lot of flower shots in this challenge, however this one takes the 'cake'. Beautiful lighting. Composition, clarity, colour and subject is just fantastic. I really like this shot. The black background hightlights the subject very well. A big 10 from me :) GL. |

cityscape (urban landscape), blue sky and white puffy cloudsby tomzinhoComment: CC: I love how you have used your lens in this particular shot. I can see that it is a little blurry, but it's just a minor flaw. The clouds are just awesome and the way you have captured this picture overall makes the sky look very dramatic. If you took this in B&W on a really overcast day and did a little manipulation in PS, it would certainly be a more dramatic photo (just a suggestion). I really like how you have captured those buildings with peaks on them it adds to the dramatic feel. Overall a great picture and certainly meets the challenge. Excellent job and well done. |

All Cracked Up!by kandyjComment: CC: Great example of catching the motion of the egg white dropping into the bowl. I love how you have used black as your primary background colour with the white bowl. It really stands out. The yellow from the egg of course adds a nice colourful touch. I also like how you have added the two eggs beside the bowl, using the whole frame instead of leaving it black in that area. The composition of your photo is excellent, by the way you have placed the eggs, bowl and hand all in one. The lighting is also crisp, light and clear and is easily seen. Just a little flaw is the shadow which takes your eye straight to it, but with a little moving of light and perhaps even another light may take away the shadow, however it's just a small thing. I think the way the hand holds the egg looks like it's been cracked like a true non professional chef, which is a good thing because it's all natural and hey who can crack an egg like a pro (not me). Anyway overall a top shot, keep up the fantastic work and I look forward to seeing more of your photo's in the near future. PS: Hope your not a chef (didn't mean to offend if you are) |
