Road to the Soulby LokiComment: It's hard to critique this beautiful capture. The only thing that bothers me and only a little is the whites on the left are a bit blown out and the subject is a bit too centered for my taste. If you cropped about 10% from the left of the image, it might be better. |

First Insect Macroby BruBComment: There is some doubt in my mind what the subject is ... Bug or Flower. The petals are the most accurately focused. My suggestion would be to be sure your intended subject is most accurately focused. Otherwise a very nice capture with good colors, comp, levels and contrast. Blurred background via DOF works well. |

"Rose Red"by sfarrell23Comment: Great photo of the rose petals. Not so great background. In this case I would suggest PS to tune up the background or a different crop to de-emphasize it. |

f/4 @ 1/25by BikeRacerComment: This is a very nice photo done in with a great technology-style technique. Focus is terrific. Lighting is very good but it might benefit from a side light or two. Nicely fills the frame. Really, this is exceptionally good. |
