 I took a picture of the eyes with a macro lens, and then played with the lighting and saturation until I liked the image.

The frame and the crop spoils the pic. Otherwise great pic, nice use of selective desaturation, great details. 6

Good sharpness. Hard to criticize such a difficult shot, but the left overexposed and somewhat posterized area detracts from the overall effect. Also, if you could have caught the ends of the dark lashes at the top I think it would have been stronger.

great looking blue. the left side looks a little blown out, but it's still a good shot.

IMHO your crop is too close. I think it would look better with all the lashes in the frame. I'm not sure what you are trying to say with the blue left intact, it doesn't seem to have a purpose. Your inner and outer frames are not even giving it a lopsided look.

It's hard to critique this beautiful capture. The only thing that bothers me and only a little is the whites on the left are a bit blown out and the subject is a bit too centered for my taste. If you cropped about 10% from the left of the image, it might be better.

The left side seems very over exposed but the right 2/3s seem fine. Nice desat, too.
