Oleander 01by MousieComment: Contrast and negative space are the strongest aspects of this from my viewpoint. I like the lighting which is subtle. My only negative and it's picky, is that it's a bit busy. |

Giraffeby MotoCycleBoiComment: I think this is a risky photo for this challenge. It doesn't feel like a macro shot to me. That being said, i really like it. The sharp focus on the flower and soft blurring of all else is powerful. It has high emotional impact. Terrific! |

Seriously, this is vry well caught. I love the translucense of the eye stalks. Colors and focus are good. If it were me, I might have tried to color shift the background. Having said that, I would also have lacked the skill to do it well. Really nice picture. |
