drifting awayby myceliumComment: This is a very nice photo. The colors and composition are terrific. The pods are a nice counterpoint to the full blooms. With all the smoke (?) I hope no flowers were injured or killed in the attempt (lol). I am struggling a bit to find the tie in to the theme but you're in good company since 80% of the photos struggled with this as well. So i don't think that will hurt your scores. Good luck inthe voting. |

Planet Marsby arnitComment: I like this a lot. You've done a nice job turning a plain ridgeline into an other worldly feeling landscape. There are a few artifacts along the ridgeline (far left and far right) that are indicative of selective levels work. I am really struggling to get rid of these in my photos which is probably why I noticed it. Not a major distraction. |

Journey Through Middle-earthby Joey LawrenceComment: Nice tie in to the fantasy theme, one of only a few that did a good job with that aspect. Composition is interesting. DOF must have been a bit of a challenge. My only nit pick (and it's small) is that the subject wizard (?) feels flat compared to the foreground. Not sure what could be done about it, but if it had greater depth, I could have given it a point or 2 more. Good luck in the voting. |

Hidden valleyby tasha4pawsComment: I really like the idea of this shot. The foggy ridge with wind generators is other worldly. The trees in the middle ground against the fog are great. I gave it a good score but would have given it a couple of more points if you had straightened the horizon and eliminated most of the foreground hill. I doubt this would have been easy in post processing but if you had shot a few other angles and positions, it might have been possible. Great photo. I hope it does well in the voting. |

Flying Southby roadrunnerComment: This is among my favorites for this challenge. There are many photos that will score higher but none will convey the emotional impact you have created here. Well done. |
