Stairwellby GermaineComment: Rotating your image was a superb post processing decision. You have taken a good image and fit it to the challenge so much better this way because it emphasizes the shape, and creates interest trying to figure out what I'm looking at. Very well done! |

Balloonby GinaRothfelsComment: Not to trivialize your photo, but I really like the slack lines and the curves they make. There may be lots of other nice aspects, but you've captured the lines superbly! |

Galileo's Legacyby blurredvisionComment: Looking at the thumbnail, I did not expect to like this. When I opened it, it was such a pleasant surprise. Well composed. Well executed. Well presented. Well processed. And I love the title (I'm a bit of a science geek and the reference to Galileo really appeals to me.) |

Margaritavilleby EricMGB1974Comment: I absolutely love the DOF and the detail you have preserved here. Possibly the strongest entry in the challenge in terms of meeting the challenge. Subtle colors strengthen the image. Great job. Among my top picks. |

The Tripods are Coming!by front_elementComment: Very techno- shot. I like your rotation, big improvement over landscape. Conversion to B&W is superb. Levels of gray are terrific. Composition is wonderful. "You done good!" |

Nature's Pyramidby NeilComment: Phenominal shot. I wish I could have been standing there with you when you took it. I can almost smell the cold. Thanks you for what I hope will be a ribbon entry. |

The Shape of Perfect Flightby GIS_boyComment: Lovely shot! The colors, contrast, composition are all virtually perfect. There are a few post processing artifacts but none so severe that they would bother me much. The degree of difficulty of this shot, plus it's excellence make it a top entry in my book. |

OVALby WessyComment: Good idea and well composed. Lighting is a bit harsh and the hot spot is a bit distracting. Try natural light next time, or difused light from a couple of sources. |

Bearing Seaby MickComment: Innovative image which does well with the challenge theme. Terrific focus and DOF. Well composed. Interesting as it raises more questions than it answers. Well done. Hope it ribbons! |
