Bad Hair Day by FranziskaLangComment: Good job on this one. I like the simplicity and I think that the thistles on the left help break up the monotony of the shadow and add more interest to the overall photo. The angle of the bottle seems a bit wierd to me, but you're the phototographer, you control the horozontal and the vertical so do what looks good to you. Again, good job! |

Ellie Phunt's Shadowby David EyComment: Ellie is a nice elephant and she makes a nice shadow. I like that the way you've set up the light makes it look like a sunset against the shadow. Too bad it blows out the highlights on her head, but I don't see how you could avoid that without a double exposure and photoshop magic or some such arrangement. Good going. |

Shadow Dancerby SonifoComment: I really like this one. It reminds me of something I once saw in a magazine. The texture of the surface that the shadow is projected on works very well. The shadow is very dark and well defined. I think I would like it better with a slight cropping from the left and the top, but that's just my personal taste. Very good job on this one. |

Red Manby LanSnakeComment: Good job, visually Interesting shapes with a nice background hue. I'm not so sure about the two-tone background texture though, I think it might be better with just the more solid panel used on the right side of the photo. |

What Color Is YOUR Shadow?by GeneralEComment: Great idea! I think it could be improved by a little more care with background distraction and foreground background distance, but I think this a really good and original subject. |

BANG by CoreyComment: The shadow done it! This is a fun photo that does a nice job of storytelling. Maybe a hole in the back of the coat and some dark liquid oozing from underneath the victum. |

Champagne for my Shadowby FrooberComment: Nice atmoshpere in this photo. You got the shadow and it actually enhances the photo! I would do a bit more sharpening for this one, but regardless, it is good and I really like it. |

Spaghetti Junctionby elemessComment: Very nice composition. Another one of those photos that makes interesting of the mundane. I'm not sure about the shadow though, did you try this at different times of the day? (as if we have all day every day to get the perfect shot) |

Moving, Againby GotchaComment: Good capture! You might want to have a little off center subject (I'm considering the street person and the cart all one subject). A little extra room to the left might give less of a static feel, more like the person is moving forward. |
