I could not get Ellie to spray water, stand on her rear legs or kneel. Sorry. The light spot on her head is natural. For many years her head was all white and she is still sensitive about that. Please be kind. Elephants are almost human and their feelings are easily hurt. She loves making her shadow.

This was a great photo. It was one of my 10s. Some poeple just don't get it.

I like the lighting on this one. Good definition on the subject and shadow.

I think the spot light would have been better off on the elephant, rather than half elephant + half wall.

Nice shadow, small nit: light is a little overly bright on his head, back half of it. Photo 8 Creativity 7 Shadows 8 total 8

Ellie is a nice elephant and she makes a nice shadow. I like that the way you've set up the light makes it look like a sunset against the shadow. Too bad it blows out the highlights on her head, but I don't see how you could avoid that without a double exposure and photoshop magic or some such arrangement. Good going.

glare on elephant's head is a bit bright.

neat concept but maybe a softer light?

Interesting concept. I like the texture on the Ellie Phunt's back and the way the light dies off on the right. It would have been nice if you could have controled the light source a little more and not burned out the top of his (her) head.

The angle and framing don't quite work for me here... too much dead space.
