Going Downby GeneralEComment: Nicely disorienting, like being inside a machine, confused and nervous. The bright metallic surfaces drift by, mum and impersonal. Maybe a modern version of Alice in Wonderland. |

fickle memoryby mariucaComment: Kind of like an angled still life, old-fashioned and quirky. The softly focused foreground lends the look of distressed wood, which is artful. The items reflected in the mirror are doubled in ghostly fashion, which is uneasily spooky. The entire image bespeaks of unmentioned hidden realms. Quite pleasing. |

Who's that doggy in the mirror!by rozComment: Nice perspective and sharpness. It's impressive how he calmly views that dog in the mirror. Mine has yet to accommodate the intruder in the oven door. The greenery in the mirror is nature's equivalent of a red carpet flung before royalty. Sweet. |

I’ll take the one in the Mirror!by LydiaComment: Cute bit of magic. I like the overall cheeriness, the invitation to share in the fun. Want to know who drank the wine down to leave it half.... Message edited by author 2021-12-06 00:54:03. |

Outside Myselfby posthumousComment: The simple action of holding a mirror with one's reflection in it is rocketed upwards by the cleverly composed background. Now it's compelling to peer into the darkness and wonder about the fences and short staircase. The whiteness of the middle-ground momentarily hold the eye before it curiously seeks information in the darkness. Also nice is the secondary reflection to the right. Fine image. |

It's a Mysteryby Yo_SpiffComment: The sepia toning lends quick authenticity to this image being taken in the
Victorian era, but for the covid mask. Could be for, though, some miasmic affronts wending their way through London. I like the depth of field here, leaving the pitcher soft and the deep interior sharp. The lights and darks are nicely distributed. The woman, who might be a maid, has the posed stiffness of the times. The white shapes on the right edge are somewhat distracting.

Legs And Leaves by GolferDDSComment: What a wild effect. I'm stumped, though I do notice a mirror. Kudos for this well-done, startling image. |

morning by TiberiusComment: Terrific image. Beautifully put together, the darks framing the lights, both ceiling and window, the person framed as well in the window. The dishes and glassware casually break up the foreground, a silent audience. The shadows are delicately handled, obliging those who peer in. Can't say if the mood is quiet or tense, lending drama and mystery. Finally, the backdrop pattern of the apartment house makes an interesting texture. Seemingly guileless, but subtly powerful.

Serratedby jomariComment: Nice depth of focus and softly blended colors. How clever to pick an edge that's in color contrast at the edge of the leaf and to the rest of the image, but for a tinge of red in the upper left corner. Serene.
