The Crownby KodakComment: Even more than the luscious colors I appreciate how the circles are both truncated in a way that endows equality to larger and smaller components of this composition. The small size of the image is a disservice. |

Time by markwileyComment: There's a sense of accomplished stagecraft here, with strong lighting and choreography. Another day begins and stories will unfold. |

An old oneby hajekaComment: Nice depth of field. I like how the chain transitions from links to bokeh. |

11:06by nygoldComment: I like how this enormous clock is humanized by the people on the scaffold. The clock itself is sharply picked out by its own shadows, as are the recesses of the building. I like the blankness of the sky and the choice of tone. Overall, it has a fine historical feel. |

Dandelion Clockby JayneRyanComment: I really like this imaginative entry. The depth of field is impeccable and the background blur nicely composed. One is invited to imagine the whimsical ramifications of this timepiece as the wind blows and new dandelions proliferate. Sweet and creative. |

Gastown Steam Clockby flahermaComment: Wow, this is a new one on me. Adds visual meaning to the idea of time's passage, slipping away, evaporating. Nice old-fashioned feel, perhaps belied by the cars, but appealing nevertheless. The echoing streetlights are a good touch. |

Tick. Tock.by LydiaComment: This clock has a curiously stable presence in conjunction with the entirety of the composition. The eye keeps coming back to the unusual clock, stolid and self-assured. It resembles a flower or a gingerbread man. Decorous and good company (the image, that is). |
