Windowby mariucaComment: Interesting take on these structures almost in silhouette. They seem to be undecided about whether they're real or graphic, lending a light tension to the scene. The scratchiness adds to the mystery. And the tree at right, too. Compelling. |

Mesmerized at the Train Museumby rozComment: You can see this child's fascination and even longing, at least that's my projecting take. The lit up face draws immediate attention. Handsome black and white, deep and dark within and then opening to the brighter outside. Nice detail. Follow your dreams, adventure beckons. |

Stormy Road Tripby glad2badadComment: Looks like a deliberately overblown HDR. And it works, at least for me. The souped up colors and sky lend a crackly urgency to the image. Drive safe.
The window itself, even from within a car, is not quite evident. |

Window Viewby StructorComment: The structure is on its last legs, it appears, but the mountains abide. Feels like inside and outside are one and the same. Nice color palette. Seems like a good spot to sit down, lean against the wall and have a sandwich. |

A View to the Futureby GeneralEComment: Hard to make out the components, I'm guessing a kitchen sink, but evocative with a muted modesty. I like it, the composition, the dynamic tilt, the blown out windows. |

The view south over the parkby markwileyComment: Nice epitome of Chicago. This could be an alcove in a museum and a painting that perfectly fits the space. Trompe l'oeil. Very appealing. |

DSC_1199 resby AmmieComment: Like the opening of a movie saga. Many layers of depth, which draws you deeply in. The dark, moody weather is more emotional than a splendid day. I expect the Cartwrights, from Bonanza, cantering up to the window at any moment. Fine. |

Beachy by Yo_SpiffComment: If this were a cell, the window and view alone would keep you sane, balm for the soul. It's all the more intensified by the small compass here, though hopefully the window opens to afford a much wider scope. A small gem. Also, the slightly distorted reflections in the picture glass add more charm to the room overall. |

the viewby TiberiusComment: So much going on, shapes, lines, colors, all overlapping in a frenzied composition that's quite pleasing. I like how only the window is out of focus, big and commanding yet somehow trivial. Plenty of variety in everything. Beautifully realized. |

But, If I Go Outside, I'll Get Wetby jcarComment: That path into the foggy mountains is real enticing, pulling one to leave the car, and everything, behind. Your hedging title pleads otherwise. Fascinating tension. The unassuming foreground beautifully opens up possibilities. For a car window it's handsomely framed. Nice color palette, green, gray and black.
