Communication Gapby umbrisComment: Brilliant (pun intended) approach to the challenge. I'd have flipped the image to put the "punch line" at the end, so to speak, but that's just me. 8 |

The Radio Announcerby wkoffelComment: Nice. A unique idea as far as I've seen. A couple of nitpicks... The composition is disturbingly tight, though presumably intentional. I'd like to see some edge to the reflections on the right side (or no reflections at all). They seem to be floating in space. |

Well...It Works in the Comics!!!!by SamTComment: Are those cans touchtone or rotary? I know there's a bunch of similar shots, but I think it would add a lot to show people actually communicating rather than just the device itself. |

Broadcastingby KatrankaComment: "Sorry I mist your call..." ;-)
A surreal landscape you found there. One minor irritation is the distortion that you could have easily corrected. Still a very good entry. 8 |

Cut connectionby aKiwiComment: LOL... can you hear me NOW?! Interesting idea. The OOF knife handle is OK, since it leads your eye to the "feature." The only thing that bugs me is that you've got a horizontally centered composition that isn't. I might have centered it more, turned it diagonally or moved it even more off-center so it looks intentional. |

Sounds of Lifeby prozacComment: Good composition and lighting. That tag on the stethoscope is kinda glaring. Honestly, I wouldn't have thought of this as communication in the traditional sense, but there's more than one stethoscope shot, so I'm curious to see how you finish. Good luck, Kris! |

Tulipby NeilComment: Yeah, that's really a great shot. I'm guessing that your score suffered from the painterly quality- it looks like it was run through a watercolor filter or something. This is one of those shots that gets killed for assumptions that aren't true. If the voters could see the first paragraph of your comments, this likely would have made the top ten. |

Mountain Lion by moodvilleComment: Congrats Moodville! I can't make out the zipper, but I know there has to be a chimp in there somewhere. ;-) |
