Fun to do drops, isn't it? I think this improves on the first as your reflected image is clearer than the other. I like your choice of orientation on the paperclips as well. Interesting effect overall. Looking forward to your notes, as it is unclear how you managed to create the colored background while using the white image. Luck in the challenge!

I like your choice of subject to pay tribute to. Your sky is pleasing. The orientation of the photo feels odd to me, somehow unbalanced, losing the original's sense of landscape and making this seem more monumental.

A nice reinterpretation of "Over the Top" -- it continues the story nicely. I really like your lighting, it has a lot of "pop" but in comparison with the other, it seems that the backlighting and use of negative space is what helped create the sucess of the original. However, your image stands nicely on its own. Lovely texture and detail in this image!

I see you've been "validated"--I wouldn't claim to know how this was done, but my imagination can suggest some possibilities...
