Nice take on the subject. Like the tonal range and choice of lighting. Unfortunate reflection in the glass of room and photographer is distracting to me.

You picked a tough one given how well known this subject is. I feel the color is flat rather than soft, but I'm afraid (other than waiting for a less overcast day) I don't know how it could be improved from a technical standpoint. Composition is o.k. though the horizontal seems off. Wheel lacks emphasis due to lighting and lack of sharpness. (Just my opinions, throw me a raspberry if you don't agree.)

Just my few thoughts: Less depth of field would make this pop a bit more. The angle makes this look a bit like a waterfall--cool. A different time of day might have pulled up the detail in the shadow.

I like the photo-journalistic quality of this. The detachment of the boys from the bike seems to say a lot about their every day world. More contrast and sharper focus would make this a bit better.

Nice. Stands on its own. Sepia and graininess feel right. No real dark darks or bright brights--think a greater tonal range could improve this.

How many "it's not a wheel's" have you got? The interesting parts of your subject (to me) are the blow-out and the word "warning". I think a different angle and/or cropping could bring more attention to that. Grass on the left is strong enough to detract from the subject.

Nice color and lighting. The background breaks up a bit on my monitor. I won't dun you for it being a coin, but I do take exception to the title--just don't think the Euro has yet gained the status of the economic force you imply. Still, it's a nice shot. If I'd chosen this subject for the competition, I would have stood it on edge--but that's my vision, not yours.....

Like the point of view and the choice of subject. I think the reflection of the statue detracts, though. Not sure, but it might be better with a greater depth of field to bring the bike tires into focus. B&W appropriate for the subject.

Interesting choice of crop. Nice subject. This has strong graphic qualities that are appealing. The color is not my taste, but that's just me. The arrangement also makes this look more like a manhole cover than a church window...

Great p.o.v.! Wide angle, move in, bend knees, click! (Wish more people would bend knees.)
