The Hauntedby neenee1999Comment: Back to comment. I really like this shot, but I'm not so keen on the monochromatic (Is that what it is called?). I don't think that it has to be b&w just because it's a In the style of MEM challenge, but the blue is not doing it for me here. Still, one of the best images for me :) |

child constructionby sanandanComment: Bumping this up to a 10! For me this is the entry that best captures the connecting between subject and photographer that I think is one of the nicest features of Mark's work. Well done! |

summerby TiberiusComment: Good shot! Would have preferred a bit more connection with at least one of the boys. And I don't mind the blur in the corner. Made me think of Mark's portraits of Dennis Hopper with the black blur :) Voted earlier. |

The Wood Splitterby KMcCComment: This is absolutely among my favourites in this challenge. If the goal was to "copy" Mark's style, then I think it should be a little bit brighter, but as a "Mark's inspired" image it's great! (Hope that made sense!) Voted earlier. |

Smoke break after an extraction, Albuquerque 1997by GiorgioComment: I really like this shot. Interesting (but perhaps not unexpected) to see how many entries involve smoke breaks. This is my favourite :) Nice b&w. Looks almost untouched in terms of processing. Nice! Voted earlier. |
