I concur - no need to sharpen again after saving for the web. Or use selective sharpening

The haloing around the bodies is in the original unedited version as well. The BW just emphasises it. It's just a point an shot camera...
I struggled to get rid of it and there is no extra sharpen applied.

Congrats! This one grew on me. The extreme sharpening more than the lower right blur... but, small nits, fade and the overall impact grows. What I find most engaging, is the subtle arcs of the clouds above the diving boy - almost as if he has wings. Nice.

My only qualm is the bottom right hazy spot. Otherwise I really like this one.

There is a Surreal quality to this, with the children's heads down... mixed with the exuberance of what they are doing or pretending to be doing. I know this is unlike me, but I am distracted by the blur in the lower right and would prefer the shot without it. Nevertheless, this goes in my fantasy gallery

Not exactly sure what it is about this image but it is striking to me. Interesting capture of static and movement, cool perspective, the lack of faces - all parts of what grabs me but still those are just pieces of a larger whole that I can't fill in the blanks. I just dig it. Not sure if it is in her style (I didn't do a lot of research) but I don't care. My fave of the challenge.

A rebel in the making, no diving to him means 'yeh lets dive'

There's something about this image that draws me in, the static motion of the boys, almost like they're frozen in time, the boy is not really going anywhere, he wants to dive but someone is holding him back, the other boy is contemplating what he should do, he's wiser.

Seems a little over sharpened...., small nitpick, should do well IMHO.

Good shot! Would have preferred a bit more connection with at least one of the boys. And I don't mind the blur in the corner. Made me think of Mark's portraits of Dennis Hopper with the black blur :) Voted earlier.

Great captured moment with a real artistic vibe. I like that it feels like it is being shot from the water.
