Last Letter Against Wavesby gciboComment: Great "eye" wel spotted. Justa little out of focus and lacking in vibrancy to contend. Also learn how to correctsquint horizons (I suspect most of the comments will say that) there is a tutorial on the site under "Learn". |

Got Fries?by JPRComment: This was my top pick of the challenge
Doesn't deserve to be 47th
I think the voters got a little confused and voted down a superb shot because they found it a little tasteless. I voted on the photography and still think it should be a ribbon pic.

west pier 10.jpgby marboComment: NIce shot, and I can see what you are trying to do, but I do feel the urge to move your viewfinder over to the left to see the fire itself.

Neglectedby grahampComment: "Neglected"? the stones look "Vandalised". What is the red on these stones?. Nice colours and DOF but a portrait framing may have showed more of the stones and improved the shot. |

All our tomorrowsby kevrobertsonComment: Strange crop. I'm not sure that the tree on the left helps your composition at all? Makes the photo seem a bit unbalanced. The deep DOF also flattens the two rows of relatively uninteresting gravestones together, exactly the wrong effect for this shot IMO. |

Final resting place of Epine GY-7 from Hullby GautiComment: Just read the sory on NAT (Nordic Adventure Travel). Well done for submitting something different but this close crop doesnt really show me the "Final Resting Place" of the British Trawler. If the beach cove is as beautiful as it sounds why not step back a bit and show the wreckage in it's surroundings? |
