You've captured an older style feeling here very well.

Stunning shot, love the minimal cleverness and the tones are just as good as jjbeguin. Love it. 10

You've managed to get that 1930's hollywood look off perfectly. One of the best tributes so far. Love it. 10

Beautiful B&W with all the textures I'd expect from this tribute. Well done.

Thanks for providing the link, I enjoyed browsing the site. You have captured a similar feel although I would have been tempted to put a really interesting border on my submission like many of the more challenging shots on the site.

I suppose the biggest questions is, why did you convert to B&W since many (I know not all)of the TrekEarth shots and Many's portraits are alive with colour? The composition and model's look are bang on but I think your B&W would benefit from a boost in contrast too. Just MHO.

Great sky shot but I think your focus is somewhere quite a bit nearer than the horizon.

Love this photographers work but I think you need a little more tonal range in your B&W tribute to him.

Love this shot with it's elevated viewpoint. A nice modern tribute to Andre Kertesz.

a Tribute to Lewis Hine

Comment:
Yes it's a man at work but I dont get the heavy industrial feel that I think I should, in fact I get a feeling of isolation and remoteness from this shot. Sorry just my initial opinion and I'm no expert on Lewis Hine's full body of work.
