Path through the Light !by vikasComment: I was wondering what Ithaca-based photog took this great shot! I really like how the background isn't blown out at all, and nice composition. Good effort! |

aaronbathtripsmall.jpgby trobergeComment: I think this is a really good effort! About the only thing which I don't like it the "hole" in the little chap's hair in the centre pic. But that's just me nit-picking as usual. |

James River from Indian Rockby SJCarterComment: I really like this, I especially like how you've not overexposed the sky. I was taking similar shots ont he weekend and the sky is blown on all of them. Like others have said, the dark area is about the only thing that ever-so-slightly detracts from the image. Good job! |

10.jpgby moviemanComment: I like the shallow DOF, but think the plane of focus should be more into the photo, i.e. about the 5th guy. |

Sonoma Vineyardsby rjksteschComment: I like the leading lines aspect - that drew my attention to the fog. But then I noticed the sky, which I'm not really that keen on, although I don't have any suggestions as to what would look better IMO. The final part of the image that I noticed the the contrast between the yellow grasses and the green fields, which follows the rule of thirds nicely. Overall a great image! |
