I like the idea and the blend of colors on the subject - red to yellow. I would have preferred a different background as the carpet distracts.

It looks as though the flower is floating in air above the nicely contrasting background... I rather like that. I'll bet if the cackground were any sharper it would distract. Very NIce.

Well thats a clever take on the theme! A good Photographer should never buy a tripod that much taller than he is! (even if it is a GREAT little tripod )
