Outing with grandpaby lastefComment: Cute family portrait. However, you've lost all detail in the dark areas (especially on the dog's fur), fill-flash would have helped with that. At this focal distance, we should be able to see its wiskers and hair detail. |

Sunday Afternoon on the Boardwalkby DiComment: Very bright midday sun, not very flattering as it causes harsh shadows. Also, looks very "snapshot", not composed and thought out. |

Basement bluesby lytaComment: Whites are blown, light is harsh, no detail in the dark areas. A more even lighting and perhaps fill-flash would have corrected those problems. That being said... this image still does not say "Family" - only laundry. |
