Hoop Dreamsby CamComment: This one falls a bit flat to me. I'm wondering if it's that it lacks rich colours. The clouds in behind seem an unreal colour/shade, but maybe accurate. I don't know if maybe you'r using a software program that desaturates your colours too much. I can tel there's a bit of JPEG comrpession in this photo. I'm wondering if it would be that much better if you shot something with richer colours. |

3 pointerby MarkComment: This is a good idea, but seems very pixelated. The greens are not very rich at all - the orange shoudl be a bit more saturated as well. The ball is okay as far as colour. I'm wondering if it's maybe when you use a program to resize the image. Your camera may take a great shot, with rich saturation, and then your software program buggers things up. Maybe in the future try a different program when you go to resize. However, I like this. Maybe a tiny bit more to the right hand side to allow a bit more negative space. |

Hoop it up!by jazzmanmgtComment: Really good idea for this challenge. There seems to be quite a few compression artifacts or JPEG compression that is slightly distracting - esp. around the ball. I'm also wondering if maybe the lighting source is just a fraction too harsh because it's reflecting funny in teh metal. Maybe a reflector would have helped, but I'm not sure. GOod luck though. |

Training Groundby FirstyComment: I absolutely love this one. I love the green monochromatic scheme and the lighting is supurb. Would maybe improve just a fraction with something like a club or a ball in front, lokoing out over the scene - but maybe not. -9 |

Out of boundsby jmritzComment: I like the composition of this. I like that the negative space has something actually interesting going on. Great faded ball. Reminds me of htings in my own backyard. Good luck. |

Ready To Playby KylieComment: This one falls a little flat with me, unfortunatley. The colours are rich, but it's shot at an angle where your eye isn't drawn to anything in particular. I'm wondering what to look at first. Maybe a different idea (in the future) woudl be to get up really close to something - like a ball or a club or something, and then shoot the same thing but with something in front - just to add interest. Another idea - maybe shoot from an angle from the rounded thing in the center. Think of negative space when you compose shots and sometimes (but not always) a rule of thirds works. Try putting something striking in front of the viewer's eyes - think about where their eye will move when they look at the image (doesn't always work for everything, but in this case it may have done the trick). |

Doubles Anyone?by C-town driverComment: Really like the rich colours in this one. Great composition and really good use of lighting. THe bottom left of the ball seems a bit over-blown, but that's okay. It's so sharp on the right hand side of that ball that your eye is drawn where you intended us to look. Good luck - 7 |
