There is an almost voyeuristic feeling with this one. Background seems a tad overexposed but I'm wondering if detail would've been lost if the image were darker.

Interesting diagonal lines. Unfortunately as with many of the other entries, I find the foreground elements too distracting and competing for focus with the framed object.

Very saturated colors, looks almost unnatural and borders on looking painterly. I think it works for this image. The building is what I naturally focus on and I'm not too sure if the trees hanging overhead help to frame your composition. If anything, I find myself trying to peek through the leaves to get a better view of the sky in which case everything below the horizon or on the ground would be unnecessary.

It took a few moments for me to notice the crosses in the background being framed. Your image appears to be a lovely macro of the stone in the immediate foreground. Perhaps if the background was more brightly lit and the foreground was darker/in the shadows, more attention would be brought to the "framing." The OOF background and in focus foreground don't help to accentuate the concept of "framing" either, but rather puts more focus on the "frame" itself.

A strange phenomena I notice occurring when snapping photos of tall buildings from below is from that angle and perspective, the buildings more often than not have the tendency to appear as if they are leaning and create and awkward sense of imbalance or falling.

Normally, I prefer the subjectmatter to be off-centered but I think it would help in this situation due to the diagonals formed by the building. Harsh lighting from the sky also hurts the image. I find the architecture much more interesting than the statue, thus my eyes never want to leave the foreground.

Interesting to choose to photograph an uninteresting sport/game. The trees/houses in background is a bit of a distraction and I find that the image lacks a focal point. My eyes keep wandering between the man and the bowling balls but can't decide what to look at.

Good idea. Technically, it could've been executed better. The photo seems to be muted and drab, lacking any real highlights (white) except for the tiny reflection in the eye. I would have liked to see more contrast in the image but 90% of this photo is midtone.

And your foreground is framing??...a white background? If this challenge wasn't framing, would the entry be completely white?
