I think a tighter crop would've been useful in emphasizing the wind through the hair. The lower 3/4ths of the image steal focus away from the challenge theme.

The Path of the Tornado

Wowsers. That unnatural blue sky is what first caught my eye as the image loaded from top to bottom. I find it very distracting and out of place in your photo. The sheer intensity and brightness of the color doesn't mesh well with the warm, earthy tones of the rest of the picture. Mentally eliminating that portion of your image (and scrolling down), the rest of the composition is very busy and chaotic. A tighter crop would've been beneficial.

Lens flares are a little harsh and overexposed. A narrower aperture would've helped. Focus seems a little soft. 3 orange dots on the bottom right could've been cropped out.
