A brave approach to leave so much negative space in the image, I like that idea but it may just be too much for some. I also like the lighting and that little touch of light on the left cheek is perfect.

My favourite so far, for both the technique used and also for having the bravery to submit it, as it will probably get as much criticism as plaudits.
It seems to work on a diagonal..with the lightest portion in the bottom left and the darkest , top right.
I love it..we don`t see enough of this type of stuff for me.
The only thing I would have changed was to take the rings off as they are slightly distracting in an otherwise perfect shot....10

Ahh..here come the top shots.
I was feeling alright until I saw this..now I`m wondering why I bothered submitting.
Fabulous lighting..the only nitpick is the soft, blurry area on the forehead.
Definitely a ribbon winner.
