Alfred E. Neuman is the "FLASH"by cabaComment: I don`t normally go for images that use "props" but this one is an exception as you have used it well to convey the effect.
Good work. |

my mommy is MY heroby AnniComment: I like the way you`ve framed this and I also like the selective desat and soft focus..but I think you are very brave for using the two techniques together as they are very unpopular at the moment with some voters.
Not me though.....8 |

Scaleby e301Comment: A large dose of my "NI trick" would have had this in the top ten
Shame on you for being so dull and boring :)
Seriously !!!...A very refreshing shot that deserved a high placing. |

Suburban Impressionismby smokeditorComment: This fits my idea of the challenge..my only minor niggle is that the image is "cut off" at the bottom..however, if this is a true reflection and not PS..then I know from experience the difficulties you would face in that respect. |

Octoberby scalvertComment: My highest scoring image in the challenge.
I`m genuinely shocked to find that it`s not in the top ten.
Too many "soft image" haters out there...I`ve found to my cost!!!
Although there are many ways to end up with this type of picture..it`s amazing how many attribute it all to "Neat Image".

College's Porcelain Godby brianlhComment: I never cease to be amazed at the lack of "depth" illustrated frequently on this site when it comes to the appreciation of different styles of photograph.
While the subject matter of this particular image is understandably not to everyone`s taste..you have managed to give it a great deal of impact by rendering the shapes and textures in an interseting way in the technique you`ve used.
Well done. |
