Doe & Fawn, Cades Coveby wkmenComment: This shot it very cute & i fully appreciate how hard it is to capture a shot of wild animals. The Doe is a bit too centered for my liking & I find the highlights on the grass a bit distracting, but its a really nice photo & i'm guessing there many not have been a opportunity to reposition yourself to achieve a shot from a diffenent angle.
I really think the shadowy trees in background make the shot, they look quite foreboding, a stark contrast to the tranquility represented by the sunbathing deer. |

spotfin butterflyfish 2by wkmenComment: I like this shot. We are rarely treated to see a fish in such detail. Something I frequently get picked up upon is havening the main object of my photo bang in the centre of the frame, but under the circumstances (i.e. being underwater & photographing fish!) I dont think this really distracts from the shots appeal. I might have used a black border to compliment the stripe on over the fishes eye & of a similar thickness, thats all. |

Hammocks on the Seaby wkmenComment: This shot is wonderful, very serene, especially the way you have caught the reflections. I like the composition, but i'm not sure if i find the branches/leaves at the top slightly distracting, maybe if there were more of them... or cut then out completely. They look a bit lost especially the big twig on the left. But a Brilliant shot and it definately gains a lot from being in black & white, complementing the shots simplicity. |
