Biofuel?by GeneralEComment: Like this a lot. I've been wandering my neighborhood and little town looking down - great finds underfoot that lend themselves well to a square crop :) |

Evening Marshby Bear_MusicComment: All that glitters is not gold, but this surely is. Love the lack of anything to give me a sense of scale - this could be a tree in a forest as well as a head of grass in a marsh. |

A1010507-Editby MAKComment: Wonderful framing and perfect for square, as has been said. I would prefer a perspective that placed at least her head against either the water or the sky . . . but I don't know whether that is remotely possible. I'm just not crazy about the merger here. |

halcyonby Ecce_SignumComment: Lovely lovely light, colors, and flow. I could live here . . . in the sky or in the water. |

Untitledby aznymComment: Terrific lighting and tones. I like the depth here and the way the people are staggered. Are they working or just self-absorbed? And what am I looking over? |

singing bowl.DSCF0521by mariucaComment: I would print this and hang it on my wall in a heartbeat, Mariuca. I think it's gorgeous. Love the light, tones, composition, textures, and lyricism.
On a lighter note, I think I really relate to this. I have beautiful songs inside . . . fresh and tuneful. But somehow when I let them out, they fall flat . . . |

Moon Fruitby GermaineComment: This does not look like a cactus fruit. No complaint, just an observation. |

Outby jomariComment: Like Robert, I appreciate the balance here. The first thing I notice is the centered spray of the grass in the foreground. Then the paddler in the center just above it. It takes the square crop to draw our attention to these elements, I think, and that is a good thing. |

Catby NikonJebComment: That direct stare . . . dare I say glare? . . . is most intimidating. |
