I like this one a lot. It's beautifully framed by the tree canopy and the shade and I find that almost essential here - so much is going on yet it's just a moment in time. I don't understand why, but the "framing" simplifies and emphasizes all the elements of the scene at one and the same time. I also enjoy the fact that people and animals are all either in the shade or headed for it - must be hot there.

Great curving shapes, lines, and composition. Love how this flows on the diagonal and the flowers spill into the frame from the upper right. Perfect for a square crop.

I especially like the space between the buildings - the rectangular shape with its irregular outcroppings (or incroppings if there's such a word and depending on how you look at it) - and the subtle interest of the reflections.

This is fine, Penny! I love the subject and the processing as well - a very subtle Orton, perhaps, or glamor glow? The reflection is what's real; the sides of the boat just contain it for us so it doesn't slip away.

There's no color combination I like better than blue and yellow. Makes me think of spring and autumn and the best of both. Lovely dof here.
